Hello and welcome to Nintai Watches! My name is Nishan Shah and I am so happy you are here. As crazy as it sounds, this brand is 20 years in the making. Let me explain...
When I was 14, my family and I witnessed my dad purchase his Rolex Day-Date. To others, it was just a watch, but to him and my family, it was symbolic of his hardwork, passion, love, and support, paying off. It was then that I realized that watches are more than an accessory; they are a reminder, a conversation starter, a milestone, and a memory, all worn on your wrist. They are works of art, engineering marvels, and some of the most complicated items we interact with on a daily basis. Every watch is unique in the story it tells and the history it carries. Around the same time as my dad's purchase, I had the honor of receiving my first degree black belt in martial arts, a feat I did not think was achievable at the time. However, during my test, something inside of me awakened. It was years later when I understood the concept of "Nintai."
Today, we have Nintai Watches, a brand inspired by my family's journey and my 25 year journey in martial arts.
Nintai is a Japanese term often used in martial arts to describe a practitioner. It is associated with perseverance, endurance, and quiet resilience; to bear the unbearable. For me personally, it is the exact way to describe my family. Now, it will also be the way to describe our watches.
We are building watches for "everyday endurance." A watch that is built like you, for you; a watch that is built to journey through each day. No matter your background, our watches are made for you, and when you place it on your wrist, remember that Nintai is within you, just like it is embedded in the watch. Remember your story, and remember how you got to where you are today.
